Our Bioscience Business Unit tackles critical manufacturing challenges, focusing on high purity filtration in industries such as Food & Beverage, Microelectronics, Industrial & Chemical, and Biopharmaceuticals.  In addition, we collaborate with Biopharmaceutical leaders to develop bioprocess solutions that enhance production efficiency and scalability through integrated engineering with filtration, sensing, bioprocess containers, single use assemblies, and automated systems.

Our Water Purification Business Unit provides clean water solutions, utilizing advanced reverse osmosis technology to filter and purify industrial and process water across various sectors, including Leisure and Commercial Marine, Off-Shore Oil & Gas, Defense, and Disaster Recovery. Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will process and support payment of vendor invoices.  Functional responsibility includes reconciliation to the general ledger as well, preparation of external reports, and recording of journal vouchers. Assure that internal controls, Parker policy and regulatory compliance are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all non-PO invoices get timely approvals and G/L accounting coding on invoices is accurate 
  • Process and enters A/P invoices into A/P system 
  • Ensures that all PO related invoices are complete for the 3-way match process of gathering the PO, receiving approvals, and invoice copy occurs timely and accurately.  Request approval as needed on service-related invoices
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports
  • Complete unvouchered accrual at month-end, and completes other month-end accruals and JVs
  • Performs other duties as required to support Accounting
  • Analyzing workflow processes and implementing process improvements
  • Monitors timely processing of purchase cards to ensure no past due reports. 
  • Various monthly accounting duties and responsibilities. 
  • Special projects as required
  • Payroll back up as needed. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience 
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good listening and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Power BI / Power Automate / or other streamlining software experience a plus

Conditions of Employment

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as spanet and business considerations. Pay Range: $18.60 - $31.00 per hour.
